Hoping to pave the way for investors, Shiraz mayor said to Tourism reporter, we are trying to make Shiraz as the heaven of investment in practice due to the efforts of the Governor of Fars and the members of the Islamic Parliament, the Islamic City Council and other executive bodies.

Shiraz city has a history of several thousand years and the earliest reference to Shiraz is on Elamite clay tablets dated to 2000 BC and in other words the history of this city is 6500 years ago before the rise of Islam, Mohammad Hassan Asadi declared.

Pointing to Shiraz as one of the biggest tourist مقاصد in Iran with eye catching ancients sites, splendid gardens, shrines, and exquisite mosques, Shiraz mayor added, There is a surge of population in attractive parts of this city these days, and this burdens the duty of our officials in terms of providing good services to them. On the other hand, Shiraz with a plenty of historical attractions is unique among the metropolises of the country.

Referring to the interpretation of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution about the city of Shiraz, Asadi said, The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution placed a big crown on the city of Shiraz with the title of the third shrine of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and emphasized the tourism aspect of this city.

The mayor of Shiraz also pointed to the medical tourism pole of this metropolis and said, The tourism pole of this city has remained due to the presence of historical monuments and heritage, and due to the clean air of this city, as this metropolis has not had a single day of polluted air in the past year And this added to its being a tourist hub and we should appreciate it.

Emphasizing to try the best for registering the world complex of Zandiyeh in UNSCO heritage list, Asadi said, We should increase our sisterhood with other literary, historical and cultural cities of the world.

The mayor of Shiraz metropolis pointed out the capacity of Shiraz city and reminded, In the first 45 days of this year, more than 3.5 million travelers entered Shiraz city and very good memories were left in their minds and efforts were made to offer deserved services and accommodation to them.
